6 October 2011: ISTANBUL In partnership with TUSKON (represented by its chairman, Rizanu Meral) and FEDIF (chaired by Nevzat Ceylan), the Greater Paris Investment Agency organised a seminar focusing on the Greater Paris Project and presenting the inherent investment and partnership opportunities to an audience of around 150 innovative and dynamic Turkish company representatives. This mission ended around a dinner, organized in partnership with ITO (Chamber of Commerce of Istanbul), and its President, Murat Yalcintas. At Beirut, Lebanon: The Greater Paris Investment Agency went to Lebanon for the first time and was greeted with a very warm welcome at the highest level. Pierre Simon as well as the delegation accompanying him met Nagib Mikati, Prime Minister since January 2011 and also an important businessman. He was very sensitive to the Greater Paris project and to the numerous perspectives it opens in terms of investments and partnerships in our Capital Region. During the Greater Paris Investment Agency gala dinner organised at the Residence of France, under the patronage of H.E. Denis Pietton, Ambassador of France in Beirut, were presented the main investment opportunities of our Capital Region. to over 50 of the most influent representatives of the Lebanese economic community. 5 et 6 May 2010: SAO PAULO
Following a first mission in Rio de Janeiro in 2009 in the frame of the World Economic Forum, the Greater Paris Investment Agency decided to organise its own road show in Brazil, with the support of the France-Brazil Chamber of Commerce.
Pierre Simon, together with the delegation of French businessmen accompanying him, presented in Sao Paulo the numerous investment and partnership opportunities offered by Greater Paris to Brazilian investors. The Brazilian company Natura played an active part by giving its testimony of successful set up in Paris.
Chiara Corazza, Managing Director of the Greater Paris Investment Agency and Jean-Luc Decornoy, Chairman of KPMG France disclosed the results of the “Global Cities Investment Monitor”with a special focus on Brasilian metropoles.
A gala dinner concluded this event allowing French and Brazilian businessmen to network and partner.



14-17 May 2010: DAMAS
Chiara Corazza, Managing Director of the Greater Paris Investment Agency participated actively to the 2010 Arab International Women’s Forum Conference entitled “Prosperity through Partnership: Women Leaders in Modern Syria, the Arab World and the International Community” under the patronage of H.E. Dr Diala Al Hajj Aref, Minister of Social Affairs and Labour.
Following the speech of Anne-Marie Idrac, French Minister of State for Foreign Trade on the attractiveness of France, Chiara Corazza made a focus on the existing investment opportunities offered by the Greater Paris region, based on the results of the last Greater Paris Investment Agency study entitled “Global Cities Investment Monitor”.

22-23 November 2009: MARRAKECH
The Managing Director of the Greater Paris Investment Agency was invited to be part of the OECD Business Council which was formally launched at the Business Forum and Women Business Leaders Summit in Marrakech under the patronage of Mohammed VI and in presence of OECD Secretary Angel Gurria. Mrs Corazza explained that the Greater Paris Investment Agency could be a go-between etween international investments and partnerships between the MENA and the Greater Paris Region.

Following the visit in Paris of a delegation of US pension funds, the Pepperdine University invited the Greater Paris Investment Agency to present the French new political, economic and fiscal environment in front of Californian pension funds and potential investors. The road show was followed by the promotion of the assets of the Great Paris business real estate in New York in the frame of the Paris Europlace Financial Forum.
A stop in Montreal was also at the programme to put together a cooperation agreement between Montreal International and the Greater Paris Investment Agency to favour the setting up of Canadian companies in France and French companies in Canada .
